North Tyneside Learning Platform

Star Pupils

Harrison Young and Molly Nelson were nominated for two awards at the NTLT star awards on Monday evening. I was absolutely thrilled to accompany them and their families to the ceremony. Both children were an absolute credit to our school. Molly was nominated for the inspiration award.

She is a young carer for her sister and has been learning sign language which she has been demonstrating to the class. She approaches her role as a positive learning experience and aspires to be a carer when she grows up. Harrison was nominated for the Resilience award for his amazing determination. Despite having Nystagmus and Perthes disease, Harrison is always full of enthusiasm to learn new things and is an extremely happy, positive boy. Both children came runner up and were extremely proud of what they had achieved.

Well done both you, we are very proud of your achievements!
