Watch out Sir Alan!

Our budding Year 6 entrepreneurs set up their stalls at The Grainger Market on Thursday 20th November to sell their products as part of our exciting enterprise project.  This was a culmination of our Autumn Term topic, 'Make £5 Grow' - an enterprise initiative run by Virgin Money.

Each child was given £5 by Virgin Money. Working in groups of no more than five, they had to come up with a product and then plan, research, design, purchase raw materials whilst keeping to a budget, market their new product and then consider a price for their product which would earn them a profit.  The visit to The Grainger Market was an amazing experience for the children; not only did they develop their enterprising skills and their ability to converse in a polite, mature and confident manner with members of the public, they also made a very handsome profit!

Well done Year 6.

We wish Year 5 well in their visit to The Grainger Market next week.
